My name is Kyle and I have been with my husband for 50 years. I am a mother, grandmother and recently became a great-grandma. I am blessed to have my husband who can often be found in his workshop creating or assisting me with projects. I have worked in chaotic positions most of my life and art has always provided me with joy and relaxation.
I can not remember a time in my life when I did not have art supplies in our home. My biggest influence was my mother who was a successful acrylic painter. I am self taught and have spent thousands of hours practicing and participating in online instruction to learn new techniques. The studio is filled with paints, brushes, canvases as well as all the bits and pieces of this and that imaginable. I find inspiration in my travels and gatherings with other creators. My studio hosts a variety of artisans that are interested in creating joyful art and laughter at the same time.
My personal joy comes from helping guide others in making fun memories and creative projects. When someone says “I am not creative, I can’t draw or paint or even glue”, I smile and reply “Sure You Can!” and that is how our studio got its name. I truly believe everyone has the ability to relax and just enjoy the process. Are we a fine art studio? Most would say not but some amazing pieces have been created that are now in galleries, high-end homes and businesses. We are a fun art studio who can have some silly moments with the goal of making huge smiles and happy hearts.
While at the studio or out and about, the goal for this studio is to promote joy and fulfillment. Many of our projects are made up of recycled materials that become re-imagined, joyful art. Our in-house and off-site artists all have the same goal: to make happy memories and smiles!
